The quiet village of Brightwater in Nelson is the location of our family Estate and Vineyards. For over 50 years our family has lived and worked here, with a long history of involvement in our community. Established for over 15 years our vineyards yield some of New Zealand’s most freshly scented, intensely flavoured wines that are recognized for being wonderfully drinkable and that stand apart from the typical commercial styles. Nelson is situated in the geographical middle of New Zealand at the top of the South Island and is the sunniest region in New Zealand.

- Vintage: 2014
- Harvest method: by hand
- Skin Contact: de-stemmed, gently pressed, settled at 10 deg C for 3 days for a cleaner ferment
- Fermentation: The Ganimede tanks are closed fermenters, which use trapped carbon dioxide to 'wet the cap' of the fermenting must. We have found this to be a very gentle way of extracting tannins and colour from the skins, while preserving the fruit flavours.
